Dr. Benjamin Guarken Chiman (Chairman BOT) is a surgical resident and now undertaking his training in General surgery in Ethiopia. Dr. Ben undertook his internship in Sudan moving across the states Western, Eastern, and Central parts. While In South Sudan, Dr. Benjamin was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Juba
Dr. Benjamin is a South Sudanese who is one of the inspiring writers of journals related to health and social cohesion. His writings are being published on some national media websites and other social media platforms. In 2019, Dr. Benjamin campaigned for cancer patients and the establishment of a palliative care center in SOUTH SUDAN. He made awareness through local radio and newspapers. Patients from Juba Teaching Hospital benefited from that campaign.
In 2021, Dr. Benjamin won the annual award from Royal Progressive Academy for his full commitment and volunteering as a medical Doctor in delivering services at Tonj Civil Hospital. Within three months he had over 100 successful surgical operations. Being an innovative and influential poet, and better healthcare advocate, Dr. Benjamin is followed by over 900 persons on his social media page
Ariik Atekdit is a professional educationist with bachelor degree in Education from Upper Nile University and has undertaken several other professional trainings in both media and education sectors.
Atekdit has multiple experiences with several Humanitarian organizations and has compounded passion for community services with leading experiences in community mobilization, health education, and peacebuilding campaigns.
Reddit has experienced working extensively as a freelance writer in South Sudan whose articles have been widely published. He has worked with leading media companies in South Sudan websites and newspapers.
With his high experience in the field of communication, Atekdit is a skillful and analytical writer with very promising communication skills. He is a translator for English and Dinka Languages.
Throughout his work, he had been in most of the hostile and insecure areas in South Sudan working as a journalist or implementing humanitarian assistance for the affected population.
Dr. Ken Waxman was born in San Francisco. He received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley (Magna cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa), his MD from The University
Of Chicago, and his surgical training at Harbor/UCLA. Ken began his surgical career on the faculty of UCLA in 1980, where he served as Chief of Surgical Oncology at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center. He then moved to UC Irvine where he became a Professor of Surgery, and directed the trauma center, burn unit, and surgical ICU. He moved to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in 1996 to direct the surgical residency program and create the first trauma center on California’s central coast. Ken has published over two hundred scientific papers, and a book, Ajak’s Song, about his experience working as a surgeon in South Sudan with Doctors without Borders. He currently works as an international hospital surveyor, serves on the Board at the William Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, and directs a nonprofit organization (Future Doctors for South Sudan) supporting medical education for South Sudanese students
Ms. Akuol is the Lab Technician Assistant at Wau Teaching Hospital.
She has previously worked as a Community Affairs Secretary General, executive committee member of the Area Students’ Association, and a Research Assistant for the Norwegian Refugee Council.
Akuol holds a diploma in Microbiology and Laboratory services. She is passionate about women and youth empowerment, as well as ensuring best practices in Laboratory services. She is result oriented and an excellent team player with strong leadership qualities.
Mr. Paul Mayen is a Public administrator with extensive experience in project cycle management. He has worked for International organizations for more than 7 years. He holds a BSC degree from the School of Business and management studies from the University of Juba and a diploma in legal administration from Chiching University.
He served the National Government in the capacity of Investment Inspector between 2013 and 2014. He won the opportunity to. Attend a seminar on association for exports and import enterprises for developing countries in Fuzhou China in 2015.
Having served in legal administration for more than 7 years. Paul is currently a trainer in the fields of legal identity national legislation, Housing, land & property and Protection from violence
Kuch Malueth Angui is a young Medical Practitioner who has just graduated from the College of Medicine with a Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) from Meseno University in Kenya. He is currently undertaking his medical internship
He has previously worked as an Auxiliary Nurse with Medicines Sans Frontieres in Gogrial Town for more than two years.
In 2005, Abraham was a founding member of Look Listen and Love Society which was established to support Comboni Missionary in spreading the good news and nurturing children for effective learning.
